COMMUNITY MONITORING: (2011 to 2013)

Krishna foundation has also been involved in forming and training Community Monitoring Groups at Sub centre Village level, Block level and District level in the district of Haridwar,Uttarakhand in order to identify problems and finding solutions in the implementation of service delivery under National rural health mission through JAN Samvad. This programme is being run in partnership with VCSG Medical college, Srinagar, Garhwal. The process of monitoring includes;

  • Group discussions with community members
  • Interviews with beneficiaries
  • Interviews with health staff
  • Exit interviews with patients
  • Observation of health facility
  • Organizing Swasthyasamvad divas and record its findings
  • Rating and Monitoring of health institutions against approved plans and physical resources
  • Share the findings with district health officials
